Pre-Dance 2

A dance and movement experience that helps children develop into confident movers who feel good about themselves, independent from parents. Self-esteem for children this age is primarily based on being a comfortable and confident mover. Kids love to get moving to music that works on motor co-ordination, rhythm, and strength. A wonderful basis for all dance forms, sports, and other physical activities.

Tap 1

Tap dance technique is an excellent way to develop a sense of rhythm and body coordination. The fundamentals of tap are taught in a progressive program of classes. New students should contact our office for proper placement, prior to registration. Grades 1-6

Hip Hop 1

As part of the urban culture of rap music, hip hop dance embraces several dance styles such as the athleticism of break dance and fast sharp moves of body popping. Hip hop and its music have become part of our popular culture and continue to evolve. Grades 1-6

Ballet 2

Ballet technique is the foundation for all other dance forms and excellent preparation for sports, conditioning and other physical activities. Classical Ballet is offered in a progressive program. Ballet Pointe

Dancers working on pointe at this level must regularly attend technique classes two times a week and also take the Ballet 4 class that precedes Pointe.

An introductory class for Middle School through Adults with little or no previous ballet experience.

Middle School-Adult. Open to dancers with prior ballet training. Instructor’s consent is not required, although it is requested that new students speak to the instructor following the first class to assure proper class placement.

Theatre Kids

School Grades K-1. Drama for the young set, using theatre games, improvisation and dramatic play to spark their imaginations. Children boost their self-confidence and communication skills in a fun and supportive setting.

Artworks 1

Grades 1-3 Paint, sculpture, collage, and drawing to challenge and delight our youngest artists. Elements of line, form, shape, and design are covered.

Actor's Workshop

Take the Stage! Theatre games, improvisation, playwriting, character development and movement as we create a performance piece that will be presented in our theatre. Students develop confidence and self-esteem through ensemble building. Plays are produced and performed throughout the school year. School Grades 4-8 with instructor's consent.

Friday Features

A rotation of arts-based projects, giving an introduction to new ideas and to experience a variety of different activities. Grades 1-6

Musical Beginnings

See your child's face beam in self-confidence with the success of making music from the very first lesson. Students will learn the basics of playing the piano, recorder, violin, and other instruments, while developing note reading, and overall musicianship. An excellent class for those wanting to explore music. Instruments and music are provided. Ages 4.5-6

Group Music Classes

See your child's face beam in self-confidence with the success of making music from the very first class. In these 12 week courses, students will learn the basics of playing their instrument, while developing note reading, and overall musicianship. Parental participation is strongly encouraged. Grades 2-4

Private Music Lessons

30-minute private lesson per week. Children and adults can experience the joy of playing a musical instrument. Class days and times are by arrangement. Contact our office to schedule lesson time. Ages 5 to Adult. Tuition listed is per month.

Tuition for lessons in Corbett is charged on a per-lesson basis.
