La Fille Mal Gardee – 3PM
La Fille Mal Gardee (The Poorly Guarded Girl): Comedy and chaos ensue when a mother and daughter disagree over who the daughter’s husband should be. In this Old-World style ballet you will see a bit of the absurd: a gaggle of spinning chickens, a dancing maze of ribbons, and watch out for flying apples when the mother gets mad! Music, costumes, sets, and dancers’ skill combine to make this a performance event you won’t want to miss!

Join us after the performance at the Garden Party for some yummy snacks and refreshments. Toast the happy ending to this comic tale and meet some of the fun characters from the Ballet. What a wonderful way for everyone to finish their afternoon of fun and support Metro Dancers with this fundraiser. Food service from 4:30 to 6:00pm.
