The Art of Drawing
The PMA Visual Arts Program provides an enriching experience for young artists, allowing them to explore and create art in diverse styles and mediums. Emphasizing both traditional and contemporary approaches, the program covers fundamental art theories, including color, light, shadow, line, perspective, form, shape, and design. Through the Artworks class, students engage with various art processes like collage, painting, mixed media, and drawing, all within a nurturing and constructive environment. This spring, our student artists have flourished, expanding their technical skills, studying historical masterpieces, and finding their unique artistic voices. Alongside building confidence and friendships, they have inspired us with their creativity and dedication. As educators, we deeply respect their artistic freedom and value the authenticity of their creations, which continue to amaze and motivate us every day.
