Scholarships

One of our guiding principles is to ensure that quality arts education remains accessible to everyone regardless of income level.  As such, we have established fair and affordable class tuition and fees.  We realize that some families may need occasional financial assistance. With the generous support of our donors and sponsors we are able to offer scholarships to students in need. Scholarships are given to students who demonstrate their commitment through regular attendance, being well-prepared during class, prompt payment of their tuition and a willingness to help support the programs and projects at PMA School.

A 25% scholarship is available for students who qualify for the Federal Reduced Lunch Program, and a 50% scholarship is available for students who qualify for the Federal Free Lunch Program or are in foster care.   These scholarships are available for group classes only.  To view the current year's free and reduced lunch guidelines please visit:  Federal Free/Reduced Lunch Guidelines.

Scholarship requests must be submitted and approved prior to registration. Scholarships are valid for the duration of the class(es) for which they were approved. To renew a scholarship, families must complete a scholarship request and receive approval prior to registering for any new class.

We also offer a limited number of scholarships for other circumstances. These scholarships are applied for separately, and reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Please contact our office for details.

All requests and scholarship awards are strictly confidential.
